Waterproof liquid membrane for potable water tanks
UltraFlex PW
Waterproof tanking membrane (liquid polyurethane) for Drinking Water Tanks.
It is a waterproof tanking membrane: a two-component, thixotropic, solvent-free, and 100% solids liquid membrane for potable water, made from aromatic polyurethane. It is suitable for permanent contact with water intended for human consumption and, once catalyzed, forms a continuous elastic membrane without joints or overlaps.
Its excellent properties make it the ideal choice for waterproofing a drinking water cistern, creating hermetically sealed and perfectly watertight areas in constant contact with drinking water. Applied manually using a roller or brush.
Ideal for waterproofing reservoirs, tanks, channels, and other potable water containment systems constructed of concrete and protected from sunlight.
UltraFlex PW, a liquid waterproofing membrane, carries the CE marking. DoP (Declaration of Performance) in accordance with EU Regulation 305/2011.
Suitable for use in situations of permanent contact with water intended for human consumption. Approved by the WRAS (Water Regulation Advisory Scheme) under British Standard BS-6920 “Suitability of non-metallic materials and products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regards to their effect on the quality of the water,” NSF International Laboratories.
Material compliant with the requirements set forth in RD140/2003 and its amendments included in RD902/2018. Report No. 1246036-2 (09/01/2021). Tested according to EN-12873 standards “Influence of materials on water intended for human consumption. Influence of migration.”

General features
– Once applied, UltraFlex PW forms a durable waterproof tanking membrane with high wear resistance and excellent stability. With no joints or overlaps, it provides a uniform and continuous finish that facilitates optimal cleaning and maintenance.
– Apply in layers of approximately 0.8 to 1 mm to achieve a total thickness of 2 mm (consumption between 2 and 2.5 kg/m2).
– Thanks to its thixotropic properties, it is suitable and easy to apply to vertical surfaces.
– Keep the membrane protected from sunlight.
– Avoid applying it to substrates with moisture caused by negative pressure, either during application or afterward. If that were the case, apply a barrier system first.
Important details
Packaging: Kits of 12.2 kg + 2.8 kg in a metal container. Color: White.
Shelf life: 12 months when stored in its original, unopened packaging in a dry place at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
Transportation and Handling: These safety recommendations are necessary for the implementation processes, as well as the before and after, or on display during the loading of the equipment.
Skin protection: wear gloves and clean immediately after contamination. Wear clean clothing that covers your body. Wash well with soap and water after use and before drinking, eating, or smoking. Clothing that has become contaminated should be dry cleaned.
Eyes / face: wear safety glasses to avoid splashing.
Waste: The generation of waste should be avoided as much as possible. Incinerate under controlled conditions in accordance with local and national laws and regulations.
