APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Apply when the ambient temperature is between 2°C and rising, and 35°C.

Ensure the substrate is in good condition, dry, clean, and free of loose particles, dust, moss, lichen, or other contaminants that could compromise the membrane’s adhesion. Cracks and damage must be repaired prior to application.

EAGLE DT FLASH, a roofing membrane, is a ready-to-use product. Open the container and mix thoroughly, either by hand or with a low-speed mixer.

Prepare and cut the EAGLE Matting to the desired shape, ensuring the pieces are ready for application using the wet-on-wet system as described below.

Coverage: 1.5 to 2 kg/m2.
Solid content: 85%.
Touch-dry time: 4–5 hours.
Elongation: >550% (ASTM D412/EN-ISO-527-3).
Application method: roller application using a wet-on-wet system with Eagle Matting.

WET-ON-WET SYSTEM:

Apply a thick layer of the product directly from the container onto the clean substrate using a solvent-resistant roller. Lay the EAGLE Matting over this fresh layer and press with a paddle roller or a dry roller to fully saturate the Matting until the material is absorbed. Then apply another layer of Eagle DT FLASH. Ensure the matting is fully encapsulated, with no uncovered areas. Apply approximately 2/3 of the total recommended consumption for the first coat and the remaining 1/3 for the second coat. The recommended minimum consumption is 1.5 to 2 kg/m².

• Transitions, changes in plane, and joints between two substrates must overlap by 5 to 10 cm.
• Create a perimeter area extending approximately 5 cm beyond the matting to fully encapsulate it.
• The touch-dry time is approximately 5 hours, depending on the weather.

TECHNICAL DATA

Packaging:
Metal cans of 4.5 kg and 14 kg. Gray color.

Shelf life:
12 months at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C, stored in a dry place. The manufacturing date is indicated on the label.

HANDLING AND TRANSPORT

These safety recommendations are necessary for the application process and during exposure to loading machinery. Respiratory Protection: Use an air-purifying respirator when handling or spraying.

Skin Protection: Wear rubber gloves and remove them immediately if contaminated. Wear clean protective clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and water after work or before eating, drinking, or smoking.

Eye/Face Protection: Wear safety goggles to avoid splashing and exposure to airborne particles.

Disposal: Minimize waste generation. Incinerate under controlled conditions in accordance with local and national regulations. Consult the product safety data sheet (MSDS) or contact our technical department.
