From its subsidiary in Barcelona, Gemma Mogas leads Eagle Waterproofing’s marketing strategy in Europe.
The company has announced its ambitious goal of growing 30% in the United States by 2024, consolidating its presence in the North American market. As a strategic part of this commitment, Eagle Group will actively participate in the International Roofing Expo (IRE), the premier event for the North American roofing and exterior construction industry, which will take place February 6-8 in Las Vegas. The event will bring together renowned professionals to enhance industry knowledge and access a wide range of products and services.
In addition, Eagle Group reinforces its commitment to the European market, with strategies aimed at strengthening its presence throughout the region.
Innovation Spotlight: UltraFlex® in Action
During the last quarter, Eagle Group has successfully presented its flagship product, UltraFlex®, at various strategic events. This technological breakthrough in liquid waterproofing attracted greats amounts of attention at the Belgian Rood Day, the reference show in Belgium, which brings together professionals from the roofing sector in Northern Europe, where the company demonstrated the effectiveness of the UltraFlex® wet-on-wet. ‘The interaction with industry professionals and the recognition of the attendees underlined the international relevance of the product’’, says Gemma Mogas, Partner and General Manager of Eagle Waterproofing Ibérica, Eagle Group’s subsidiary in Europe.
In Bulgaria, the company collaborated last October with its commercial partner B&S Commerce, in a seminar held at the BAU Academy, presenting UltraFlex® and discussing innovative waterproofing membranes. During the meeting, in addition to a product demonstration, different projects carried out with the company’s technical solutions were presented, and sustainability, guarantees and waterproofing of roofs, aquatic areas and structural waterproofing were discussed. In addition, Eagle Group made a presentation to technical applicators in Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria, consolidating its presence in the Bulgarian market.
Local engagement: Eagle Group in Barcelona and Madrid
In its commitment to the local community, Eagle participated as a promoter in the CATEB (College of Arquitechtural Technicians of Barcelona), presenting UltraFlex® and providing a practical workshop. This event brought together technical architects and construction managers on October 24 to learn about the versatile applications of the UltraFlex® system in different construction contexts. ‘We discussed the different construction systems and the importance of having innovative technical products that guarantee good waterproofing in the long term, while being reliable, cost-effective and avoiding errors on site. Thanks to our range of liquid products, we achieve greater speed and less complexity in application, optimizing resources, especially in the current context of lack of professional labor in the construction sector,‘ says Mogas.
During the last quarter, the company also participated as a promoter in the Waterproofing Forum 2023 organized by the National Association of Waterproofing Specialists (ANEDI), which took place last October 26 at the Eduardo Torroja Institute in Madrid. The event included practical demonstrations of the main waterproofing applications: liquid systems, Synthetic membranes (TPO, EPDM, PVC), bitumen sheets, accessories, fasteners and anchors. During the forum, a practical training was carried out, where the main advantages of UltraFlex® were highlighted, among which is its application without prior priming by means of the wet-on-wet system, which allows the application of a double layer reinforced with Eagle Matting, thus eliminating waiting times between layers and guaranteeing the membrane thickness necessary for a correct laying of the membrane.
