Stone Resin
Eagle Stone Resin Is Two-component, aliphatic, transparent binder, polyurethane- based designed to be used with aggregates in different applications such as driveways, playgrounds and walkways.
Eagle Stone Resin is odourless, transparent, 100% solids polyurethane to be used as a binder or aggregate encapsulation for trafficable areas exposed to the UV rays.

- 100% solids, no water, no solvent (odourless).
- Don’t add water or solvent
- High abrasion resistance, flexibility.
- Aliphatic, fully resistant to UV rays and weather.
- Eagle Stone Resin should be applied in dry conditions avoiding the presence of humidity or water coming from the surface to be coated or the substrate, whether at the time of application or subsequently (pressure from phreatic water level).
- To reduce the risk of condensation, both the substrate and the ambient temperature should be a least 3 ºC above the dew point at the time of application.
- Binder for the aggregate encapsulation. Mixing ratio(in weight) 1:13,5
- The recommended size of the aggregates is around 3-5 mm.
Aplications
Stone Resin | Aplication Method
Substrate
- Concrete must be sound, clean, dry and free from laitance, and suitable for application of the resin-bound surfacing
- Ensure that the concrete has a minimum design strength of C35 and that the concrete has a minimum compressive strength of 25 MPa.
Mixing
- Eagle Stone Resin comes pre-measured in the appropriate amounts for mixing. Partial mixes of the pre-measured components are not recommended.
- Stir the Component A and then pour in the contents of Component B.
- Mix using a paddle mixer at low speed until the mixture is thoroughly combined (2min). Make sure you stir well around the edges and at the bottom of the tin.
- Simultaneously, add the correct ratio of aggregates to the large mixer, and pour
- Eagle Stone Resin Mix for approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the mixed resin and aggregate onto the support, then distribute it with a trowel to control thickness and consumption.
- Accelerating the resin.
In very cold weather the eagle resin can be accelerated to speed up the curing process by applying a maximum of 150ml per 7kg pack.

Shelf Live
24 months at temperatures between 5° C and 35° C, provided it is stored in a dry place.
Once the tin has been opened, the product must be used immediately.
