Waterproofing perimeters and detail areas

DT FLASH

EAGLE DT FLASH is a state-of-the-art, single-component aliphatic PU resin designed for waterproofing perimeters and detail areas that are often difficult to seal with traditional s.

Once cured, it forms a continuous, elastic, and completely waterproof membrane, with great durability and resistance to UV rays and weather conditions. EAGLE DT FLASH is suitable for roofs and gutters, verandas and balconies, retaining walls, and damp surfaces under tiles. Compatible with bituminous sheets, concrete substrates, wood, metal, PVC, fiber cement, ceramics, synthetic sheets, etc.

USES

• Waterproofing of detailed areas, such as joints between different roof materials, perimeters, and other complex areas.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Fast and easy cold application with a roller, fully reinforced with Eagle Matting in a wet-on-wet system. EAGLE DT FLASH offers high crack-
bridging capacity and resistance to UV Rays, stagnant water and ice. It maintains its physical properties between -30°C and +90°C. It is
permeable to water vapor and allows surfaces to breathe. It also has excellent adhesion and chemical resistance and contains no toxic
substances after curing

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Apply when the ambient temperature is between 2ºC and rising, and 35ºC.
Ensure the substrate is in good condition, dry, clean, and free of loose particles, dust, moss, lichen, or other contaminants that could
compromise the membrane’s adhesion. Cracks and damage must be repaired before application.
EAGLE DT FLASH is a ready-to-use product. Open the container and mix well, either by hand or with a low-speed mixer.
Prepare and cut the EAGLE Matting to the desired shape to have the pieces ready for wet-on-wet application, as described below.

WET-ON-WET SYSTEM: Apply a thick coat of the product directly from the container onto the clean substrate using a
solvent-resistant roller. Place EAGLE Matting on top of this fresh coat and press down with a paddle roller or dry roller to
fully saturate the matting until the material is absorbed, then apply another coat of Eagle DT FLASH. Check that the matting
is fully encapsulated and without any areas missed… Apply approximately 2/3 of the total recommended consumption in
the first coat and the remaining 1/3 in the second coat. The minimum recommended consumption is 1.5 to 2 kg/m².

– Transitions, changes of plane and joints between two supports must overlap by 5 to 10 cm.
– Form a perimeter area about 5 cm beyond the matting to completely encapsulate it.
– Touch dry time is approximately 5 hours, depending on the weather
